It seems like the more I speak to random people, the more I am confronted with anger, poor customer service, and just an overall mean attitude. I can tell you, I have seen this in my clients, and in the people I deal with on a daily basis. I sometimes fall into this rut as well. The one thing that rings true is that we are all in this together. Everyone seems to be blaming Obama, or blaming someone else for the situation they are in. If you are not satisfied with your current situation, then you be the one to make that change. Stop sitting around and waiting for the world to change. Instead you change the world. You be the sole contributor, and not the group follower. Dissension (sp) will only lead to negativity. Negativity breeds anger and so on and so forth. So tomorrow when you see someone thinking the sky is falling. Tell them to get off their butt and do something about it. Each of us can make a difference in someone's day. And you can make a difference in the rebuilding of our economy and society.
(Queue the music, "We are the world...we are the children).

In business and even in your personal life, your word is everything. If you do not stand by your word, or go against what you tell people, this shows that your:
1. Inconsistent
2. Unreliable
3. Uncreditae

... And so on. When you tell a
Client you are going to do something, do it. If you utter the words, "you have my word". Then you better stand by it.

The life breed of this economy is fueled by small businesses injecting competition in the marketplace. So remember, next time you walk into your local pizza parlor, next time you walk into your local diner, next time you see that framed one-dollar bill on the wall behind the cash register. Show some respect and some appreciation for your local business. It's what keeps our community going.

Blackberry Tour ReviewFor those of you out there that just cannot make that leap of faith to the iPhone, there are replicas, or what I can Crapberry. The newest in the line of dung is called the Blackberry Tour. After the complete failure of the Storm, RIM knew they had to come out with an iPhone replica and answered the blackberrites requests for apps, touch screen, internet browser and everything else they wanted to copy from Apple.

BlackBerry Tour offers world roaming capabilities, providing you with voice coverage in 220 countries overseas and e-mail and Internet coverage in 175 countries. Domestically, the smartphone works on Verizon's EV-DO Rev. A network and supports a number of the carrier's services, such as VZ Navigator and V Cast Music.

Other highlights include a full HTML Web browser, built-in GPS, Bluetooth tethering, and a 3.2-megapixel camera. Verizon also revealed that it will release a camera-less model.

Sprint's version of the BlackBerry Tour carries the same $199.99 price tag, but the provider has not released a specific release date.

Although I am not a big fan of RIM products, my unbiased opinion and review of this device is as follows:

The BlackBerry Tour is a solid business smartphone with loads of messaging options. Thanks to diligent work by RIM building some very useful apps to connect to the major social networking and instant messaging services, the BlackBerry Tour isn't too buttoned up for business, and it makes a solid all-around choice. In fact, the phone has solid multimedia features with good music hardware and one of the best video players we've used on a smartphone. The screen is also fantastic, perhaps the best we've seen on a business device like this. Still, more and more the BlackBerry platform is showing its age. The Web browser is nearly useless compared to the desktop quality browsers you'll find on other advanced smartphones, even on new Windows Mobile devices. The calendar and messaging apps, while powerful enough, were downright ugly to use, and the phone still relies heavily on long, confusing, textual menus for settings and advanced features. Further, while Verizon Wireless fans have been clamoring for a new BlackBerry with a keyboard as an alternative to the touchscreen BlackBerry Storm, we'd have trouble recommending the BlackBerry Tour over AT&T's BlackBerry Bold, which can run all the same apps, but which also uses Wi-Fi. RIM has definitely polished the BlackBerry design to a glossy sheen, but there are better smartphones out there. Release: July 2009. Price: $200.

Pros: Sleek BlackBerry design with the best BlackBerry screen yet. Great selection of apps for social networking, instant messaging. Visual voicemail.

Cons: Call quality wasn't as good as other BlackBerry devices, like the BlackBerry Bold. Web browser falling farther behind the competition. We didn’t love the keyboard. And its not an iPhone!

This is dinner in china. You pick you fish out of a ton of tanks. Fresh. Wonderful culture but the meat is "odd".

As I was walking into a Publix, I noticed a man watching me walk in with my kids and just stopped and smiled at the kids. It got me thinking. He was in his late 70-80s and he was most likely a widow and not financially stable. I could see the appreciation for life and the innocence of my kids in his eyes. It made me also appreciate that despite my stress, my issues and whatever else goes on in my day and life, the value of family is so important. I put myself in his shoes and could imagine the life he had. He had a pleasant way about him and just enjoyed life, despite pushing carts in in the 100 degree weather. To make a long story short, I know how precious life truly is and I sometimes lose sight of what is truly important. Living a positive, healthy life. And your family. Everything else is just life. Money comes and goes. More than you know (lol. Damn IRS). Nevertheless kiss your wife/husband and kids and tell them you love then. You never know when your day will come. Carpe diem.

On another note I strive to be positive and spread a positive vibe on a daily basis. If anyone has any tips or would like to discuss this further, please post to my blogs. I welcome the tips and open discussion. Sometimes happieness is hard to cone by these days.

I have to say I was skeptical to upgrade to the 3g S. However the video camera feature alone is worth the upgrade. For those of you that jailbroke the phone and downloaded Cydia and the video app, there is no comparison. I no longer have to bring a camera to Disney with my kids. My phone does it all. Apple has spent the time on developing a rock solid product that isn't without faults. But every other company is striving to replicate the style, app store and success of the iPhone, and in my opinion, are failing miserably. The only other phone that I feel is even comparable is the Palm Pre. Anyone who asks me about cell phones, I just show then what I can do with this device and people are amazed. Hats off to Mr. Jobs and his tyrannical procedures and way of doing business that revolutionized our industry.
